Best Regards. If you still can't pair or connect your Bluetooth accessory
- If you can pair your accessory with some devices but not your iOS device, unpair the accessory from one of the other devices. Then try to pair with your iOS device again.
- Check with the accessory manufacturer to make sure that your accessory supports your iOS device.
- If you have any of these issues, contact Apple Support:
- You can’t turn on Bluetooth or the setting is grayed out.
- You can’t connect any Bluetooth accessories with your device.
- The accessory manufacturer confirmed that your accessory is working correctly.
I am having the same problem, I can connect to the car bluetooth and sound music but cannot make a call or receive it because it looks like iphone cannot route the audio to the bluetooth device. Alredy try on rosen car audio, kenwood, bose and a little chinesse speaker with call ability and have the same problem, seem like Android is the way to go... I receive lots of calls while on the road, this iphone is of no use right now iphone 5s 10.3.3 having the problem since 10.3.1 and cannot get back to 10.2
Phone was working fine with my car before update. After update it was not recognized so I reset the car device. Not it connects for a while but calls sound distorted and the pairing fails shortly after being established. You can't be serious that I have to change all devices each time an iPhone update is released. Just make sure all things that were working continue to do so.
Seriously, this has got to be the most pointless, unhelpful reply, even by Apple standards.
the question clearly suggested that Bluetooth connection wasn't a problem UNTIL your iOS "upgrade", and I use the term loosely, broke it.
Millions of users have reported Bluetooth bugs since he last couple of upgrades happened. Sadly, Apple have chosen to tell people to unpair, reset, check with manufacturers - everything but admit they caused the problem, and fix it.
Since upgrading to 10.2 we've had intermittent dropouts with erything from Bose headphones to Yamaha sound bars - the only constant being Crapple's bizarrely dysfunctional software.
Sort it out, or at least attempt to provide an answer, not another vanilla post obliquely absolving Apple of any responsibility.
Same here- brand new iPhone 7, only 2 weeks old and blasted 10.3.3 is stopping Bluetooth connectivity and also turning phone to silent. Toggling Bluetooth on/off fixes it for about 10 mins, then it's off again. Apple don't care- they just tell you to factory reset and start again- it's a SOFTWARE problem Apple and people who spend a fortune on your products deserve a better response. I just picked a contract with Spotify that I cannot use because thanks to 10.3.3 I cannot connect with car or house speakers. Well played Apple.....
In the infinite wisdom ;~) of the developers, if a bluetooth device has another pairing, say with your old phone, the second device will not 'discover' the bluetooth device. The smarter thing to do would be to discover it, and list it as 'paired with another device'. This was my problem, maybe not yours, but worth a try.
I didn't get any helpful or working information.
ios10.3.3 still cannot pair with my Mazda 5, 2009. I wish there is a way to go back to iOS 10.0 where I was able to pair with my car.
