All your questions are pointless. Apple does not do business, at all, in Iran. Apple does not authorize any reseller to do business in Iran. There are no official iPhone carriers in Iran.

Therefore, no store in Iran has any legitimate wholesale access to any Apple product of any kind. The only sources of iPhones will be used, graymarket, or outright stolen phones. There is nowhere in Iran where you can possible buy a legitimately retail new iPhone.

Even if that seller was selling never used iPhones in their original box, they had to have been stolen, or purchased by someone outside of the country and brought in. In that case, they are used devices, not retail new devices.

And whether the original warranty still has coverage time left does not matter. There is no Apple support, at all, in Iran because there is no Apple presence in Iran. There is nowhere you can go to or send the iPhone to get support in Iran. Apple does not do business, of any kind, in Iran.

You asked if the device was new, and the answer to that remains, no. If you bought it from a store in Tehran it cannot possible be a retail new iPhone as there is not one single legitimate source of retail new iPhones anywhere in Iran. The seller who sold it to is selling either used devices purchased originally in another country, or stolen devices. The package it was in has nothing at all to do with that, one way or another.

The warranty started the day it was first sold at retail by an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized reseller in a country where Apple does business. And the warranty would only apply in that country of original legal retail sale.
