Why is Apple Music so bad? It actually *****

I am trying so hard to like Apple Music. As time goes on it keeps getting worse. Is anyone else unhappy with Apple Music. My kids are pushing me towards Spotify. They are in their 20's and inform me that NONE of their friends use Apple Music. What happened? I am a Macintosh person since "88", I am wondering if that is the problem.

Here are my grips

Lack of detail on the Artist compared to Spotify

No concert support, like Spotify

Lack **** web page to Apple Music - Old looking compared to Spotify

What does everyone else think?

I cannot be the only person who thinks Apple Music *****.

I have canceled my subscription and I am going to give the family Spotify a try. Sorry Apply, Sorry 401K

Why should the services be the same? Why should they offer the same features? It's called "brand differentiation". The fact that different streaming services offer different features means that we all have more choices. Also, there's no rule that you can't subscribe to more than one.

Personally, I wish I could rip all those concert features out of Spotify. It would make it a much better service. In my opinion.

I think she is here because Apple Music is exceedingly disorganized and a sick hole of time causing great frustration. She is attempting to understand the reason for this in comparison to other common services. The response, from what I assume are technical support people of Apple Music is telling. Seems to convey a sense of defensiveness to an inferior product blocking the ability to improve. Should dissuade the hope of people, such as this writer, to Apple brand loyalty to think things will improve based upon previous successes such as the iPhone.

So it seems the only logical action is to use Spotify and allow Apple to wallow on it’s laurels, while the streaming music industry continues to progress leaving Apple further behind.

As I said... that conversation is not allowed to happen here.

Your assumption is incorrect.

You and she have not heard from Apple's technical support people. The silence you hear and seem to be interpreting as indifference is the same as any hypothetical question will get here. They do not answer "why" questions.

I am not an Apple technical support person.

I am merely educating as to how this community works. I am not defending anything.

You and she have been provided a link for a way to speak to Apple and offer your views.

Perhaps not. But you can't start this type of conversation here.

This is a technical support community, where we answer answerable questions.

It would appear you should use Spotify then. Not sure why you're here.
