Check:

Settings → Sounds → Vibrate on Ring = ON

Settings → Sounds → Vibrate on Silent = ON

Settings → Sounds → Ringtone → Vibration → Alert (Default)

Settings → Sounds → Text Tone → Vibration → Staccato (Default)

Settings → General → Accessibility → Vibration → Vibration = ON

Me too. It happened after one of the updates earlier this year. I keep waiting for an update to undo this but all updates lately are to fix stupid X. I’v been happy with 6 plus. And only reason i should need to buy a new phone is to leave Apple because they are not supporting older users. Just new users. I really hope I’m not in that position.

It appears 11.2.1 RESET the:

==> Settings\General\Accessibility\Vibration setting to OFF (Set it back to ON)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This switch seems to act as a master switch for vibration essentially turning vibrate off no matter what other settings you try such as 'vibrate on ring' or 'vibrate on silent'

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Try this before all the other sites tell you to try so many other things including RESETTING your phone which is totally not necessary and a waate of time plus it will cost you time updating your settings back to the way you want.
