how to reset parental control security control?

This answer is bull&$as. I cannot erase and reset wi5out the restrictions password! So, once again, how do I reset the parental controls password?!

If you forget your Restrictions passcode, you need to erase your device, then set it up as a new device to remove the Restrictions passcode. Restoring your device using a backup won't remove the Restrictions passcode.

You cannot reset it. The only thing that you can do if you have forgotten the passcode is to restore the device to factory, then set it up as a new device.
