Powerbeats Wireless 3 need pin to connect

Whenever I try to connect my powerbeats 3 wireless to my PC, the PC recognizes the headphones then asks for a pin. This happened to me once I got them but eventually after registering them, the PC did not ask for a pin and it connected. I recently had to disconnect to try fixing some other errors and now it won't reconnect. What is the pin or how do I fix this?

Hi jjjoelle ,

I understand that you are trying to pair your Powerbeats3 Wireless earphones, but your PC is asking for a PIN to finish pairing. I'm happy to provide some help for this issue.

Check out the help provided on the Beats website here:

Bluetooth Basics—Wireless

Pairing

Never been paired? Just turn them on.

Next time’s the charm? Turn off the headphones and hold the multifunction button above the b button for 5 seconds.

Rapid flashing blue and red LEDs on the right ear cup let you know you’re in pairing mode.

  1. Turn on your device.
  2. Activate Bluetooth and search for Bluetooth devices.
  3. Select Beats Wireless from the list of found devices.
  4. If necessary, enter passcode 0000.

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. Cheers!
