iPhone 5s battery problems

iPhone 5s battery suddenly started draining in 15 minutes or less. I never had any issues with it before so I tried all the options given on so many websites. (No background app refresh, display low light, even turned off notifications) I couldn't figure out why. I needed to take photos one day so I made sure it was fully charged & turned low power mode on & then turned power off & after 15 mile trip I went to turn on to use & it was dead?? Screen Showed plug in & red. So I thought maybe I actually forgot to turn power off but I go back home annoyed & plug in charger & in 2 or 3 minutes it shows fully charged, that's when I did google search & discover I was not the only one with battery problems after updating iPhone 5s to 10.3.2 iOS. So I am wondering if Apple intends to do anything about this problem that is affecting so many users?? I mean it's not like anyone would actually believe that it's a coincidence all these devices experienced same problems after update...my once great iPhone is now useless unless I keep it plugged in constantly.
