iOS 10.3.3 destroyed my calendar entries

I unwisely upgraded my iPhone to iOS 10.3.3 and the upgrade destroyed my calendar entries. For every birthday I entered the name of the person, and on the second line I put the year they were born so that I could calculate the ages of my nephews and nieces. Or if it was an anniversary, then I put the year of (say) marriage. ALL GONE!!

How do I get all that information back?

Devastated!

Same issue, and couldn't add a new entry either. I found this solution from a 2014 ios 8 post. It worked for the 10.3.3 calendar issue for me.
Cheers.

"I had the same issue. I tried six times to add an event and nothing happened. Then I tapped "Calendars" at the bottom of page. Selected "Show All Calendars" at the top of the page. Selected "Done". All six attempts to add the event showed on the day I had entered them. Now it is working. Hope this works for you."
