Mass delete old calendar events

Hello,

I would like to mass delete old items from my calendar. I have several years worth of appointments and events, most of which I no longer need to know about. What I would ideally like is a list view where I can select multiple events and delete them so it will go much more quickly. I can't just delete the calendar since I have current and recent past events that I need to keep.

I know this will affect my iPhone and iPad which I'm hoping for. Just trying to scroll back to see what day a particular date fell on is painfully slow since I have so much on my calendar.

I do NOT have a MAC nor will I be purchasing one. My office environment is Windows so I maintain the same at home for consistency sake.

Any thoughts on how I can make this happen?
