How do I get rid of zzqrt pop-ups? I haven't downloaded any unreliable software.
I have used malwarebytes, and it found some crap and got rid of it. But I still keep getting these popups that pretend to be from Apple Support. I tried force quitting Chrome, launching it with the command W, etc., but the problem seems to be getting worse and more frequent. Any other ideas?
They seem to be popping up when I navigate to sites I normally go to. It's very annoying. I ran EtreCheck, deleted a couple of files it found, and have run Malwarebytes a few times. It found some stuff, I thought it was all gone, and now they're saying I'm clean and these "Call Apple Support" pages keep popping up.
Sorry, I don't use Chrome and am not familiar with it.
Are you seeing these popups only when visiting particular web sites? If so, there's no clean up utility that will help. The site is generating them and will do so every time you go there.
Is this only in Chrome, or do you see the same popups in Safari?
Do you see these popups no matter what device you're using (Mac, PC, iPhone/Galaxy/Android, iPad, Surface, etc.)?
