If I turn on FileVault on my 2016 MBP and I have OneDrive on my machine where I save files in a shared folder that other people have access to will the files in OneDrive be encrypted and thus not be accessible to others?
Also, will any files I have in iCloud Drive be encrypted? I don't share these with anyone but do access them from different devices.

FileVault encrypts the drive on your MacBook Pro but it has absolutely no effect on files that you sync from that drive to OneDrive, iCloud, or other 3rd party services or backups to online services. However, some or all of those may be encrypted by other means.

If I encrypt OneDrive can it be set up to be used as a shared drive where others still access files if they have the correct credentials?

I use OneDrive and iCloud some (and have tested the fact that FileVault has no effect on either) but don't have the information to go beyond that. You may want to ask questions about OneDrive in the Microsoft Office for Mac OneDrive forum: Microsoft Community
