How can I change the theme of a book?

Hi,

I am editing books in Photo on my iMac. After I have created a book and obviously selected an initial theme, can the theme be changed afterwards?

Actually I worked for 1h on a book with a theme and now need another page layout which is not available under the theme selected. And as editing of the page layouts is not possible, I want to change the theme. Do I need to start all over again?

You can change the theme of a book from the toolbar of the Photos window. Click the button with the book icon. Then click "Change Theme".

But changing the theme may modify the book pages you already created. There may be missing text or photos may move around. So make a copy of your Photos library and try the layout change first in the copy to see what will happen.

Alternately you could create a second book with the other layout, then export the one page with the different layout as a PFD file and use this PDF on a page with a full-page photo.
