Can I pay for iCloud storage annually vs carrying my credit card for monthly withdrawals?

I don’t need to complicate life by entering a credit card number in iTunes.

I don’t use family sharing for the same reason: I don’t like operating with automated subscriptions.

I have a ton of iTunes cards outstanding, but apparently cannot use those for iCloud storage payment.

If I have to maintain a credit card number in iTunes for monthly charges, I may forego the upgrade.
