Charging with USB on 220v

I am currently in Europe from the US and have forgotten to bring a converter in order to change our plugs. The plugs are 220v. I am aware that the cube will convert the voltage so that we are available to use it to charge our phones. My question is whether using USB ports from an adapter (does not convert voltage) will work to charge our phones without any problems. In addition, we have USB ports on a router and a tv that we have been using to charge our phones. Will this have any effect? Does this also apply to iPads as well? Thanks for any answers!

The power brick for your iPhone or iPad is just that - merely a power converter. It simply takes the wall source and converts it to global industry standard USB output. The iPhone or iPad itself is the device that will regulate battery charging using the USB power provided. Any iPhone or iPad power supply can be used anywhere in the world with the appropriate wall socket adapter.
