How to connect a 2004 Apple Cinema Display 30" to a mid-2012 non-retina Macbook pro?

I'm looking for advice on what adapter(s) I would need to connect a 2004 Apple Cinema Display 30" (M9179LL/A A1083) to a mid-2012 non-retina Macbook pro (MD103LL/A)?

The Cinema Display has DVI, Firewire 400, and USB connecting cables

The MacBook Pro has

•SDXC card slot

•Two USB 3.0 ports

•FireWire 800 port

•Thunderbolt port

-Mini DisplayPort output

-Support for DVI, VGA, and dual-link DVI

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

MacBook Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12.5)

Thanks Grant Bennet-Alder. I came across this monoprice adapter in my various searches & wondered if it might be a good alternative (it gets decent reviews & I've had positive experiences with monoprice equipment in the past).

However, I'm glad you pointed out that no USB data might mean no brightness slider. This particular macbook pro/cinema display set-up will (hopefully) be used extensively for basic photoshop, lightroom, illustrator & other website/graphic design purposes. So control (or lack thereof) over the monitor's brightness would definitely be an issue.
