Podcast playback speeding up
Why do my podcasts randomly speed up to 1-1/2x or 2x without my asking them to? I know how to re-set them to normal speed, but it's frustrating to have to do so repeatedly.

I understand that your Podcasts are randomly playing at abnormal speeds without you changing it.
I would first try force quitting the app: Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Then try restarting the device and relaunch the Podcast app: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
