Setting up email on my Doro8***

Hi, I've been trying to set up my icloud email on my Doro8*** phone for weeks now. I finally managed to get through with the two-factor authentication and app-specific password. But after I reach the part where I choose the colour to differenetiate between other email accounts and about to press confirm I get the message "could not connect to email server, please check your email settings". Can anyone please help?
