External CC7 control Issue/Bug

Ok so here is my issue with Mainstage 3.0 that hopefully someone can help with. I’m setting up Mainstage to control two Roland rack modules, a XP3080 and an Integra 7 both will split duties with a Nektar Panorama P6 61 key controller and a 88 Key Nektar controller. I have everything working as it should but for some reason I cannot get volume CC7 to transmit through Mainstage. It does work when using Logic and or Ableton live so I know that everything works as it should, the road block seems to be in Mainstage. If I set up the mixer slider on the P6 to control any channels expression it works fine as well as almost any other CC parameter except CC7.

As a side note if I use any AU or VST inside of logic I have CC7 control, it clearly an issue with external inside of Mainstage and not the midi instruments or controllers as it’s proven to work outside of Mainstage in either DAW I mentioned.

Anyone have similar experience and can help, I suppose if I have to control all channel volumes through Expression I can do that but it would be nice to at least resolve this apparent bug.

Thanks, Peace to you all.

Did you create a screen control object on the layout page to assign CC7 to a destination? Then, in edit mode, at concert level>assignments and mappings>MIDI>routing, make sure the box is checked for control change 7/10 controls volume/pan of channel strip objects. Next assign the screen control object to a slider or knob on your keyboard. This will control the the channel strip slider in MainStage.

You assign it at concert, set, or patch level.
