I had the same issue with my X Phone... I kept on trying to click on the Accept Button for the Terms and Conditions and nothing would reset.... You need to go to Apple ID, iCloud, iTunes which is listed below your name in Settings....Click on your name... Then touch "Sign Out"At the bottom of the screen to sign out of iCloud.... You will be asked if you want to keep your Calendar and Contacts on the phone before the sign out is completed... You want to do this... Once signed out sign back in... Your will find that the request for accepting iCloud Terms and Conditions is now gone ... IE the Red "1" is no longer showing below your name..... Apple Phone Support walked me thru this... It took perhaps 2 minutes to accomplish this.....

I would go to your Apple Id, iCloud, itunes etc under SETTINGS... Directly under the Settings page... Sign Out of iCloud... You will be prompted to turn off your find my iPad.... Go ahead and enter your ID Password... Then continue thru the various prompts.... Once you are signed out then sign back in. Once you are signed back in the Terms and Conditions should no longer come up..... BTW if you are prompted to have your contacts and calendar stored on your ipad you should turn on these settings to green... Once you sign back in there is no need to go back and change anything... Everything should reset by itself...
I had the same thing happen to me. I'm 100% sure that the acceptance took hold - it was just the notification that wasn't disappearing. I tried a lot of things, but eventually the solution was to log out of iCloud on the device and then log back in.
Hi Mileslasvegas. Try logging in to appleid.apple.com using Safari. You may be able to do it there.
Did you click to acknowledge that find your iPad would now be off? This needs to be done....

I don't see a sign-out of iCloud function on that page, just a turn on/off button which doesn't provide any further prompting.
Hi Mileslasvegas. Sign Out is right at the bottom of the screen you posted. You need to scroll up to see it.
I have the same problem on Apple TV, the message to "read new terms and conditions" keeps interrupting my viewing but there is no way to respond. (Going to this Apple website is even more annoying and time wasting). Apple must provide a quick no-fail way to respond quickly with no inconvenience.
Had the same problem. Signed out of iCloud and restarted- now can't sign in! I get the "Unable to sign in because of a problem communicating with iCloud" What a mess!
No problem signing in with my laptop or desktop mac at the same Apple ID. Any suggestions?
Hi. You may need to scroll to the end to reach the Accept button.
If that's not it please describe exactly what steps you are taking to reach this situation.
I have a msg to accept new iCloud terms and conditions but when I open that link in Settings and tap the terms and conditions (in blue) nothing opens so there’s nothing to accept
I tried that, signed out, shut down, turned back on and signed back in. Hasn’t fixed the issue.
I even upped my iCloud storage just in case it was related to that.
I've tried all of those solutions too and nothing has worked. It does appear that it is backing-up via iCloud, but still has the red icon on the Setting app.
