I accidentally deleted google chrome bookmarks folder on my Mac Book Pro MacOS Sierra (version 10.12.5)

Hi, I accidentally deleted google chrome bookmarks folder on my Mac Book Pro MacOS Sierra (version 10.12.5). All explanations to recover the deleted bookmarks folder describe finding Bookmarks.bak file in: Macintosh HD -> user -> Library -> AppSupport -> Google -> Chrome -> Default -> Bookmarks and Bookmarks.bak

In MacOS Sierra, AppSupport folder in Library doesn't have Google and there is no apparent way to find Bookmarks.bak extension which is the crucial step in recovering deleted bookmarks. Does anyone know how to find this Bookmarks.bak for google chrome so I can recover my deleted google chrome bookmarks?

Thank you.

Hi Esquared,

I am very thankful for this valuable suggestion. How to Show the User Library Folder in macOS Sierra - The Mac Observer : This link that you included in your reply helped me add library to my home (Command Shift H) and surprisingly it had AppSupport -> Google -> Chrome -> Default -> Bookmarks and Bookmarks.bak

I was able to delete Bookmarks from there and rename Bookmarks.bak -> Bookmarks and save it. After this change, I quit Google Chrome and relaunch it and Hurray...My deleted folder with 100s of bookmarks was retrieved back on my Google Chrome profile.

Thank you so so much for helping me out. This shows you only need one correct suggestion to solve the problem.
