are the dimensions of the iPad mini 4, 2015 release different from the iPad mini 4 later editions? looking for a keyboard case and some say they will fit only the 2015 release--models A1538 and A1550. but mine is later release -- model MK842LL/A. I do not want to order a keyboard case that will not fit my specific iPad Mini 4. thanks

Hi bishopcheen. Check the marketing order number of your device. It's on the back (hard to read) and at the top of Settings > General > Regulatory. I think you'll find it matches those for which the case is supported.
You're confusing model numbers (A1234) with order numbers (MK1234). AFAICT there are only two iPad Mini 4's, both having the same size factor: http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/ipad/ipad-mini-faq/differences-between-ipa d-mini-4-models.html
that solved everything. i should have known that Verizon would put every other number on the order documents except one that fundamentally matters to consumers. well, ok--the serial number was also buried on the order docs in very small font....

And cases fit each one.
