Stolen brand new Apple Watch before I got to pair it? Is there anything I can do?

My brand new series 1 Apple Watch was stolen the night I bought it. I hadn't even unwrapped the plastic covering the box so obviously I hadn't paired it with my phone. I have the receipt which is in my name still cos it was emailed to me but the paper copy was in the bag with the Watch which was taken. Asides from informing the police and searching second hand dealers and trading websites, is there anything I can do?
