My daughter has damaged the charging port on her iPhone 5s. Would purchasing a wireless charger work with a damaged port?

iPhone 5s is not compatible with wireless charging. There are third part wireless "adapter" packs, but they also need the Lightning port to work. I'm afraid you'll have to get it fixed. Make a fresh backup before bring it to Apple.
I wanted to make sure because there is one on Verizon that a representative said would work as her children have damaged ports and she uses it but it's sold out. So the port has to work. Well there goes that idea. I've had the port replaced once already. Ugh.
Ah, as Apple doesn't replace ports, you must have gone to an independent shop, which voids your warranty and Apple's out-of-warranty service policies. So you might as well get it replaced by whoever replaced the last one.
It was out of warranty anyhow. As always when something goes wrong the warranty is always past the one year time. It happens every single time. :)
