Can I use acetone free nail polish remover to clean apple products?

So I heard nail polish is good for cleaning things because of high alcohol content and its very volatile but acetone in some removers can destroy the finish on glossy screens etc?

So its hard to get isopropyl alcohol with may work better but the ingredients in the nail polish remover is:

Isopropyl alcohol, MEK, Ethyl Acetate, Aqua, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Parfum, Glycerin, Panthenol, Citric Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Denatonium Benzoate

it also contains Bitrex

So is this safe for cleaning MacBook Air screen, iPad/iphone screen, MacBook keyboard and trackpad etc?

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.3.3, Rose Gold, 16GB

Do not use anything but clean water and a microfiber cloth on any Apple screen. Otherwise, you risk damaging the gloss (or anti-glare as the case may be) and other coatings on the display.

Any commercial cleanser, solvent or other material has the potential to damage screen coatings, keyboard inking, or to get into internals and damage electronics. And any such damage will almost certainly void your warranty.

😮 No! Apple say use a cloth dampened with water only. Retina screens especially are very sensitive and you should not be using any strong chemicals. Have you seen what non-acetone nail polish remover does to shiny surfaces?

If you feel you should use something other than water, you should examine how you are handling the devices. Kdeep food, drink etc away from them.
