Macbook 12 inch screen replacing price

I cracked the screen of the macbook 12 inch early 2015. It had a slight inded in the edge of the screen. As I live in Poland, I went to a apple retailer to get it fixed. They told me the price to replace the screen is 3400zl, roughly around 950 dollars for the screen to be replaced. That is insane. Over 50 percent of the original price for a new computer. Is that price genuine?
