Can't sign into iTunes on windows 10 with a certain user but I can with another.

For a few months now I've been trying to figure out why I can't log into iTunes or authorize the computer I'm using. After a bunch of trial and error I've finally pin pointed it down to my windows 10 User account.

I've completely uninstalled iTunes and all its components multiple times.

I created a new user and was able to sign in and authorize iTunes normally when I did this.

I tried to copy my iTunes folder from the new user and pasting it into my main user account but the problem persists.

Both accounts have admin permissions and I've always run iTunes as administrator.

Here's the diagnostic, I didn't have my phone connected. It says this user isn't an admin but it is an admin account.

I finally figured out what the problem was. iTunes was using old hidden configuration setting for some reason.

I had to change my folder options to show hidden folders.

After uninstalling iTunes and all it's components.

Then

Control Panel>File Explorer Options>

Click the "view" tab.

"Hidden files and folders" Section

Click show hidden files, folders, and drives

Click Apply then OK.

Then navigate to C:\Users\(account name)\Local

Delete the folders Apple and Apple Computer

Then navigate to C:\Users\(account name)\Roaming

Delete the folder Apple Computer

After that I was finally able to log into iTunes again.
