On facetime, like the phone app I thoght it would have a full history of logs. When i check the facetime history on the facetime app it seems to overwrite a previous log so I cant see previous log, only the current one made.
How can I get the full call log history of facetime from any month. I tried on a recovery app but that only showed phone calls not facetime calls.

The Recents log only keeps the last 100 calls. So, if your FT call was 101 calls ago, you won't see it.
I can see them in the recents. In the facetime app it specifies if its a video call or phone.
On the phone app It does not specify this, it only says "call".
How can i get I get it to specify that this was a facetime video call?

Recents does that automatically. There will be a small, very light grey camera icon to the left of the entry for a FaceTime video call.

Why does it need to say it too different places?
What I didn't see yesterday (probably didn't have my glasses on) is that, in the list, it says "FaceTime Video" in addition to having the little camera icon.

The Recents Log does tell you that a video call took place. The list specifically says "FaceTime Video".
If you mean legal proof, it's probably not going to be acceptable in a court of law unless you bring in the computer and show it on the screen. The reason is that it's pretty easy to fake it if it's in any other format (like a transcript or screen shot).
To view all FaceTime call logs you will need to go into the "Recents" section inside the Phone app.
But when you click on the "i" for more details, it wont say its a facetime call.
I need the logs as proof of video call taking place, or I wouldnt have cared much either too.
But i dont think there is anyway, I have researched too much online and found nothing
