waiting approval for ever

I have a Macbook pro laptop and a galaxy s8 phone. I have apple mail working on my phone. On my macbook pro in systems preferences it tells me "some account systems require you to sign in again".

I end up with go to another device on icloud to sign n. I do not have another device to go to icloud on.
