There is no rhyme nor reason that some purchased iTunes music and some imported music have Artist avatars, but the majority of iTunes purchases do not have avatars. I am running iTunes 12.6.2.20 on macOS Sierra v10.10.6. Why has this been a consistent issue across iTunes?

Not artwork, avatars! I just purchased Out Lines via iTunes and no avatar, as well as previous purchases of Owl John, Pedro the Lion and One Day as a Lion on iTunes--no avatar.
