AptX installed on MacBook

Hi, all

I want to use aptX-enabled wireless headphones with my MacBook Pro. On an old MacBook, I have installed Apple's Bluetooth Explorer, and enabled "Force use of aptX" - before I take the plunge with my - Pro, is this all that is necessary for aptX use? Are there any pitfalls? Thanks.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS Sierra (10.12.4), 13 inch 8 GB RAM Early 2015

Hi,

I took the plunge a while ago and forced the use of the aptX codec that is part of El Capitan and High Sierra OS’. Works fine with aptX enabled wireless headphones. Tks. A third party plugin whatever for aptX-HD would be useful, however.

There needs to be support for APT-X with Mac OS first. Maybe there is a 3rd party plugin?
