How can I reset the HomeKit configuration of a Philips Hue Bridge 2.0?

Hi everyone,

I have a Philips Hue Bridge 2.0, and I am going to change my Apple ID. How can I reset bridge´s HomeKit configuration to setup the bridge´s HomeKit configuration again with the new Apple ID?

Are you changing your Apple ID? Or updating it? I only ask because lots of people think that when they get a new email address, they need to set up a new Apple ID. And that just causes all sorts of problems.


If you really do need to reset the Hue Bridge, you could always just use the factory reset button on the back.

Hi, thanks for answer.

I created a new Apple ID, I didn´t updated the old Apple ID.


My HomeKit house and the Bridge are associated with my old Apple ID, but I don´t want to reset all the bridge, just the HomeKit configuration. Do you know how to make that?
