Spell Check for OutLook Express ?

Does anyne know of a free download that can I can install that will work with OutLook Express 5 that came with my G3 20GB Blue&White 500MHz SlotloadingCDRW.

The help section says I have to have MicroSoft Office installed ????

It is correct that you have to have the spell check portion of Micro$oft Word. Since it's OE 5, I assume you are looking for something that works with OS 9. Correct?

Yes, Thats correct ! IM using OS 9.1 Is there a free download that will work without having Microsoft installed.... and why didn't it come with it in the first place ?

I am aware of 2 spell check apps that you can use in OS 9 - Spell Tools & Excalibur. I used Spell Tools beginning with OS 8. I never used Excalibur. Spell Tools no longer is available for download, but if you send me an email (click on my Apple Name), I'll send you the installer. Excalibur can be downloaded from the link below.

Hi, I sent you an email so you could forward that downlaod, but I wondering... will it work with my Outlook Express Mail, I tried the Excalibur in the meantime and it appears it only works with word apps like... Apple Works, etc. I was looking for something for me emails before I sent them
or even when typing sumting like this !

eew, your link is for the OS 8.x version. I sent Eric this file & the version 1.4 update for OS 9.x.

Im either lazy, blind or both..... I opened up your link you sent by email... and there are hundreds of other links to many problems, hints at help, etc, but I don't find the link for a spell check that will work for an email account in Outlook Express, sorry and thanks for your help.
