i have a few general questions pertaining to an etrecheck report that i ran after reviewing this board and seeing that many suggest doing so in order to get information about any potential problem they may have with their laptop, etc.

They are:

1. Should i worry about the shell script comments? If so, why and what are there purpose?

2. What about same type question for invalid signatures for process?

3. Lastly, what about comment when executable is not found as noted for one item?

I apologize for brevity and not doing research myself to answer the above questions. I am in a rural area for the weekend and have an intermittent (at best) connection. (Change in plans....my connection is so bad i can't upload attachment so what i'll do is point out the issues noted below)

Thanks again for your help and clarification.

Without seeing the report we can only guess at what you may be guessing at.

the report is all text so you only need to copy and paste it here if you wish for an analysis of it, no need to attach a file.

You may also describe the problem and we can provide suggestions.

If you saw Etrecheck flagging the newer version of Malwarebytes it may be due to the decision over at MWB to change the behavior of that application to a stay resident product much like many AV products for Mac.

Etre will probably come around shortly and explain, confirm, or dismiss my answer with the correct one.
