Ho there, my apple watch got unpaired from my iphone somehow, but I've still been tracking activities on my watch. I just tried to re-pair my watch with my phone and it seems that i must reset my Apple Watch first - which incidentally will also delete all of my tracked data. Does anyone know of a workaround? Much appreciated.

If your Apple Watch has become unpaired from your iPhone (rather than just disconnected), then I'm afraid that it will not be possible to retain any Activity data on your Apple Watch.
In order to re-pair your Apple Watch, you will first need to manually erase your Apple Watch by following these steps:
On your Apple Watch, go to: Home screen (via a single press on the Digital Crown) > Settings (cog icon) > General > Reset > Erase all Content and Settings.
Then re-pair it to your iPhone via the standard process, choosing to Restore from Backup, if offered the option:
