Apple TV in every hotel room

I do not think there are obstacles in installing many apple tvs close to each other (one per room). The requirements are then very low, just a TV with HDMI cable and a basic internet connection. Obviously everything depends on what type of TV you have in the rooms. Are smart tv or "normal"?

I think there is no problem even in connecting smart tv to apple tv. Definitely a smart tv, having already a mini operating system installed, do not so much need apple tv. But surely it can serve the same, for example to buy movies on itunes store, to download games from the app store of apple tv, etc.

There should be no issues with having many Apple Tvs close to each other.

The issue is most things on the Apple Tv, require an account to use and watch content.

Is the hotel planning on setting up the Apple TVs with their own account and just letting guests buy or rent anything they want?

What about other channels or apps, like Netflix, Hulu etc... those also require a subscription. Will the Hotel provide this subscription?

How would you keep track of what purchases or rentals are made by what room to charge for them if you are planning on charging them?

What exactly is the end goal here, by having Apple TVs?

how do you plan to manage the accounts? if you have a bunch of devices that allow users to log in/out with their own credentials you may have a lot of calls to your IT desk throughout the night.

I recently stayed at a hotel that had a netflix ready smart TV, I had to log in with my own credentials as the hotel had none, I also had to log out or the next person in that room had access to my account.

For example, if you want to activate netflix on all TVs, you could use an account for up to 5 TVs at the same time. So if the hotel had 50 rooms, it should activate 10 netflx accounts, for example.

whats preventing the guest from logging in/out with their own or other credentials?
