cannot find the saved photoshop files.

HI,

i'm sasa. Yesterday i saved my photoshop file in saving location called T (folder). File - and when i re check file was there. And i shutdown my computer and next day i try to open the file then it was not there. i search it everywhere. but file cannot find, even i tried spotlight searching also. still i cannot find it on my mac.

i tried to open it from photoshop>file>open recent file> then name of the file is showing and when i click it, it is telling that file cannot be found.

I went to asked help from adobe forums, according to them i create a new file and save it to the same default saving location T folder. and i recheck, it was there. i close it and open it still it was there. again i shutdown my computer and see file is missing, like same thing happen to the new file. i don't know how this T folder has become my default saving location. That is not something i created.

i'm a windows user from long time and has moved into to iMac since last month. please help me to find out my files.

Thanks.

Sasanka

In System Preferences : Spotlight : Search Results tab, you need to √ Images.

In Spotlight, enter kind:image .psd

This will find all Photoshop files with a .psd extension wherever Spotlight indexing has occurred. Hold down the cmd key to see the filesystem location, or while doing this, double-click on the selected filename to open a Finder window at the .psd file location.

If you saved this Photoshop file to a device that is blocked from Spotlight indexing, or has not been indexed, then the above approach will not work.
