how do i fix my phone? read description

I dropped my iPhone 6 in the toilet by accident but I immediately grabbed it and dryer it off with a towel and it seemed okay for about 4 hours. But now it has a white haze at the top of the screen where it's a noticeably lighter than the rest of the screen and when I mute the volume or ringer it keeps it popped up and it won't go away unless I turn it up atleast just one notch. What do I do? My parents don't have the money to fix it or get a new phone so I can't go get it fixed by a professional.

The general method to try and recover a device that has been exposed to water is to turn it off and place it in a sealed bag of uncooked rice for 5-7 days. Keeping it powered on after exposure will generally hasten disabling the device. As you have found, water and electronics don't mix. If you are unable to get it to work after the rice "trick", then you have no alternative but to have the device repaired.
