iPhone 4S iTunes error 50 while trying to update

I have been trying for the better part of a week to get my iPhone 4S back up and running. I'm trying to update this device to iOS 9.3.5 and every time I do so, it ends in the mysterious error 50. I've tried reinstalling iTunes, different 30-pin cables, using a different computer, using a Windows 7 BootCamp partition, tried every USB port on my computer. Every time ending in the same error.

What can I try to get this device back in action?

Other Info

Mac OS X 10.11.6 (max for my iMac)

iTunes 12.6.2.20

iOS 9.3.5 (downloaded via iTunes)

iPhone 4S, iOS 9.3.5

It could be a hardware issue with the iPhone 4s. I would recommend visiting an Apple Authorized Service Provider, Apple Store or Contacting Support too see if the device is still supported for hardware repairs where your located and have it looked at.

Also if there is data (like photos, document, and etc) these could be lost if not backed up.
