Student discount for international students in USA?

Hello Apple community,


I am a South African PhD student visiting the USA from 19th - 30th August 2017. I would like to know whether I would qualify for the student discount when purchasing an iPad Pro, and if I would also get a free pair of Beats headphones as advertised on the website, when buying at an iStore in the states? The reason I am not sure is that I am not a student at a US university, however I am a student with proof that I am currently registered at a university, but in South Africa.

Here are the eligibility requirements for the Apple Store for Education in the U.S.A.


Since you are not a student at an American University, I'm afraid you are not eligible to make purchases there.
