Apple maps, I have given you a chance and you just suck compared to Waze (and Google Maps, too, for that matter).
So be a big boy and allow people to choose on CarPlay.
Google, which owns Waze, would first have to write a CarPlay compliant version of the app and submit it for approval. Lots of people will make noise about Apple not allowing it, but to date, Google hasn't even made the attempt.
When will carplay add Waze?
