Convert .MOV to .MP4 in iMovie

I've just created an iMovie project that is about one song length. I tried to airdrop it to my phone, and trim it that way so I could send it to my friends and family, and it says the file is unsupported. I'm assuming if I convert it to an MP4 it will work, although, if anyone knows why the file was unsupported in the first place I would appreciate all the help I can get - especially since Apple customer service is MIA.

Just in the last 30 minutes I have shared as a file and both times it saves as a .mov. I cannot and others cannot view it on an iPhone.

I just found this on another Apple forum from Rich839. I tried it and it worked.

When you share a movie as low, medium or high quality it will share as a Mp4. If you share it as Best Quality (pro res) it will share as a .mov. The file size in pro res will be a lot larger, but the quality is noticeably better, and you will have your movie in a format that is better for editing, should you need to do that outside of the original project itself.
