MacBook Air disabled

Suddenly my daughter's computer ask for a pin with 4 digital and at the bottom of the screen said "write to email: applehelp@caramail.com", even when I said to her don't write to extrange emails, she wrote and this Mail was the response:

And also her iPhone was blocked and show a message that said that the Apple ID account was blocked.

The iPhone now is ok, we changed the appleID password, but the MacBook still blocked! Please help, she has school infomation there.

Chances are that your Apple ID was hacked (happens a lot lately). After gaining access to that, they locked your Mac with the Find My Mac function: Use a firmware password on your Mac - Apple Support


These instructions can get you out of this, but you'll probably need Apple's assistance with that: If you think your Apple ID has been compromised - Apple Support (also read the last section of the first link).


For future reference: be sure to activate two-factor authentication for your Apple ID: Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support


Aside from that also set your own Firmware password as soon as you are able to use your Mac again.
