My iPad AirPrint does not recognize my hp wireless printer even though they are both on the same network. Note printer works wirelessly with my Mac pro pc

I had to go to settings on my iPad and select the hp envy network. I had a hard time finding their password but once I entered it, the iPad recognized the printer. Then I went back to settings on set up my home network on the iPad and printer. Once this was done I could print using AirPrint. Thanks for your reply
Did you restart the printer and the iPad? Sometimes it's that easy and simple. You can look for a firmware update for the printer on the HP website, or try reinstalling the software. Sometimes, even though everything else is working with regard to WiFi, resetting your router can help.
Is the printer compatible with AirPrint?
Wireless and AirPrint are not the same thing.
