toykofalcon app pops up when using safari

Greetings - just today I noticed that when I use Safari and, in particular, go to preferences/privacy tab to clear cookies from websites, an application pops up called ToykoFalcon, also described as AppAK. It appears to be an extension of Safari but I cannot see it when I look for the Safari extensions. I will force quit it but it reappears when I start using Safari again.

Not sure if it is helpful or harmful but, judging by my ActivityMonitor, it seems to be sucking up a lot of RAM and I am having performance issues generally at this point running my MacBook Pro 2012.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for your prompt response. I did not see this particular app, Malwarebytes, in the App Store. The only one that seemed to pop up (no pun intended) was something called AntiVirus Zap. I am wondering whether this means that Apple trusts AntiVirus Zap but not Malwarebytes, or am I reading too much into whether something is or is not included in the App Store. I am also assuming that AntiVirus Zap would also do the trick.

Thoughts on this?
