When viewing my purchase history I see that what I thought were albums I was downloading show as playlists. Will these go-away if.when I cancel my Apple Music membership?

When I viewed my purchase history in iTunes I see "Playlist" instead of "Album" listed & then "song" for the tracks. I am concerned that if & when I cancel my Apple Music membership I will lose all this music that I have paid a good chunk of money for. Is this the case or do I actually "own" the music.

Thanks in advance...billgr0248

Whether they are albums or playlists, anything downloaded from the Apple Music Subscription service will go away if you cancel the service.

When using the Apple Music Subscription service you are not buying the albums or songs. You are renting them for playback as long as you are subscribed.

Songs Downloaded from the Apple Music subscription service should not be appearing the Purchased List as they are not purchases.

So I am confused on exactly what you did.
