When telling siri to set an alarm for one hour she sets it for 1pm

Hey Siri set alarm for one hour and 43 minutes

sets alarm for 1:43pm...it's 7pm now. This happens SOOOOOO often!

Anytime I say set alarm for one hour she hears 1pm. Sometimes I repeat the exact same statement and she does set it for one hour xx minutes after current time but usually I have to word myself extremely carefully

"set alarm to go off in one hour and xx minutes"

I use the alarm feature for work and have to set multiple alarms when testing various pieces of equipment so timer won't work.

who on earth calls 1pm "one hour"?! If I say set alarm for one hour it should never calculate that to mean 1pm. In fact, if anything, "one hour" should be 1am so the heuristics are absolutely wrong either way. But still it shouldn't set it for 1am or pm unless I say "am","pm" in the request.

no

siri should not hear "set alarm for 1pm" when I say "set alarm for one hour" to think otherwise makes no sense, this is a problem with siri not me.

"set an alarm for one hour" is perfectly acceptable and I should be able to use such language, again, a problem with siri.

This is the only problem I've had with siri

I have also said "set alarm for 2 hour" just as a test and it sets it for two hours later...this is a programming flaw not an error on my part.
