Missing FCPX Files after transferring files to an external source!

I had to copy all my mp4 and jpg onto an external driver due to lack of memory space - while I was half way through editing a movie.

My external driver is connected but how do I get FCP X to read the new source files (ideally my timeline too) as currently they are Missing File!

Over 30 hours spent on this! ahhhh

Start by selecting the clips in the browser and using the Reconnect function in the File menu.

Do you have to manually have then add to timeline?
