How do you remove battery cover on latest wireless mouse?
I am an idiot ! answer is plug lightning cable into it and charge up from USB.

Geoff, you aren't the first (and you're not an idiot). It's a new process altogether. What machine are you using it with and is your profile up to date. Like, are you still on Mountain Lion?
That's fine. I was concerned seeing the Mountain Lion reference; that that mouse does not work well with Mountain Lion. It might be a good idea to change your profile as you upgrade; it means people can more easily relate to the question you pose. Enter the machine, it's MacOS and the latest update. After that you only need change for an upgrade or a new machine.
