Black screen in Safari (iPad 12.9 2017 Cellur Model)

I have iphone 7+ / mini 2 / pro 12.9(2017).


This problem only appear ipad pro.


When safari screen is black. other sites and open other tab also still black.


I had solution is restart safari or reboot ipad.

(Also I already tried ipad reset , clean safari cache.)


This is iOS bug?

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. From your post, I understand that when you launch the Safari app, you see nothing but a blank page, regardless of the site you're visiting. I'd be happy to help!


It sounds like you've done some great troubleshooting steps already, from force closing and restarting the app, to restarting the iPad, and clearing the Safari cache. Since those steps have not helped, the next thing I can recommend is to reinstall your iOS software, following the instructions under the "Put your device in recovery mode and set it up again" section of this article: If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch .

Even though the title of the article doesn't match your issue, the steps I've directed you to will still walk you through reinstalling the iOS software. I would also encourage you to create a backup before beginning; while the reinstall will not remove any of your data from the iPad, it's better to be safe. You can get instructions on backing up to iCloud or iTunes here: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch .
