Sony Ericsson k800i - best way to sync

Can anybody give me a definitive method to sync my SE K800i. The following criteria MUST be met...

- all contacts to and from the phone
- all diary events from iCAL to phone and back
- send SMS from mac
- USB connection (including charging of phone)
- seeing phone storage as logical device
- synching photos with iPhoto

(so, essentially the same as the SE PC suite, but for mac!)

Thanks
Alan

Sending SMS from mac the Mac is just not possible at this moment!
Also syncing iPhoto is just not possible at this moment with your phone!

You can browse you phone with the OSX bluetooth Utility. See the bvrowse device option.

Just try if you can connect the phone with USB for charging and storage drive mode. If these features don't work then then they are also NOT going to work for Now. Maybe in a later release off OSX and iSync.

Hopefully this is helpfull or solved your problem. Consider rewarding some points!

There is a much cheaper (and better looking) alternative to that:

http://mobile.feisar.com/plugins.html

Just £1.49 (+ VAT if you're in the EU).

1000's of satisfied customers.

The Feisar K800 iSync Phone Plugins syncs the following contact fields:

- Name
- Mobile Number
- Home Number
- Work Number
- Other Number
- Home Email
- Work Email
- Other Email
- Web Address
- Company Name
- Company Address
- Home Address
- Birthday
- Contact Notes

Plus iCal calendar events and To Dos

To send SMS from the Mac via the Phone, just follow the instructions here:

http://mobile.feisar.com/addressbook.html

To charge the phone or mount the memory stick and internal memory on the desktop, just plug it in via the USB cable.

Currently there's no direct solution for syncing iPhoto pictures, but you can easily copy them to and from the phone via USB and Bluetooth.

I used Jools' plug-in for my K510i and they work great. A lot cheaper than the other plug-ins also.

If you are using the USB cable, then your phone's storage will show up on the desktop as a USB mass storage device. I am pretty sure iPhoto should be able to pick it up and get photos from it.

For SMS, I'd highly recommend BluePhoneElite (Yahoo! Search for it). Great tool for managing/storing/organizing SMS and phone calls. Their new beta even lets you use your computers mic/speakers as a speakerphone!
